Real Data. Real Problems. Real Skills.

Apply data to real-world decisions through expert-led programs designed for students, researchers, and professionals.

We move beyond tools. We teach how to think with data.

Why Data Matters

Data increasingly shapes how decisions are made, yet many students are taught tools without learning how to interpret, question, or apply data in real-world contexts.

As AI becomes more widely used, this gap becomes even more important. AI systems rely on data, and without a strong understanding of how data works, it becomes difficult to interpret outputs, question results, or make informed decisions.

At Nomi Institute, we focus on applied data thinking, helping students move beyond tools to develop the ability to analyze, interpret, and use data to inform meaningful decisions.

The Data Lab

The Data Lab (High School)
$297.00

7 weeks · Live online · Beginner-friendly

Sessions will be held from June 9th to July 23rd

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–7:00 PM.

Weeks 4 and 5, an additional Friday session from 6:00–7:00 PM

The Data Lab introduces students to data analysis through structured, hands-on learning. Students work in small groups to explore real-world datasets, learn Python fundamentals, and build a complete data project.

Along the way, students also learn to work with AI tools, using them to ask better questions, interpret findings, and communicate results, building the kind of critical, AI-informed thinking that matters.

By the end of the program, students leave with a tailored resume and LinkedIn profile, a portfolio-ready project, and a clear foundation in how data and the AI tools built on it can be used to understand and address real-world problems.

No prior coding experience is required.

The Data Lab Applied Track
$397.00

7 weeks · Live online · Applied track · Multidisciplinary

Sessions will be held from June 8th to July 22nd

On Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM.

Weeks 4 and 5, an additional Friday session from 6:00–7:00 PM.

Designed for undergraduate students and early-career professionals.

The Applied Track is well-suited for individuals across fields interested in developing the ability to analyze data and think critically about real-world questions.

This program is designed for students ready to move beyond learning tools and begin applying data in real-world contexts. Students work with complex, less structured datasets and are expected to define their problem question, make analytical decisions, and communicate their findings clearly. AI tools are integrated, not as shortcuts, but as thinking partners that students learn to use critically and strategically. Projects are completed in pairs and reflect the type of work expected in internships, research roles, and early-career positions.

By the end of the program, students leave with a tailored resume, a professional LinkedIn page, portfolio-ready analysis, a presentation with corresponding code that they can use in interviews, and the ability to translate data into impactful decisions.
